Some things that give me joy.

Some things that give me joy.

A Poem by Nella
"

It is just one of my other very simple poems.

"
Something that gives me joy
Is kinda like a toy
And red like a red cherry
But sometimes I hate to eat strawberry
Have you ever eaten chowder?
Neither have I, But I like milk powder.

Something else that gives me joy
Is more like the word 'ahoy'
It's something that pirates would say
On a happy day.
I like to watch Sponge-bob even though he's dead,
'Which I never plead under a tool shed'
You'll never know what you might hear from me
So watch out BARNEY!

Something else that gives me joy
Is seeing other people especially this boy,
Even though he never gave me birthday presents
Neither did my parents
Buy me the bracelet with the 'Love' pendant
That's all I want
Then show me the love I needed
And I'll give the same in return

Something else that gives me joy
Is maybe an actual toy
That I can hold
When i feel cold

Now, for me to rest my voice
So you guys and girls can rejoice.

The ending of the poem was just the part I had to say when I read it aloud in class.

That's a very nice piece of work. Not too complex, and reminding us that happiness can come easily from something as simple as someone or something just being there. Nice :)
