'Z''s Reality

'Z''s Reality

A Poem by Ayesha Binte Islam

Suppose you are ‘Z’.

Then, when you stand, the world respects you;

admires and facilitates too.

Then, when you lurch, the world laughs at you;

mocks and teases too.

Then, when you fall, the world treads over you;

despises and forgets too.

No, then you are not ‘Z’,

or so will you say, adding,

“Because you have made ‘Z’ fall!’

And so, ‘Say, nobody likes failure!’

out loud we call.
