La Vérité

A Poem by Azrael

A poem about losing one's soul to the dark depths of betrayal and the consequence of sacrificing yourself for the greater good.

She whimpers in the night for one more chance to bring light to her
darkened days,
Yet she knows there is no light to guide her; she came into the night
blind and must find her eyes to see,
Holding onto fear and regret has become the anchor she drags with her
wrists knowing if she let go she would truly lose herself completely,
And when your soul is lost all that is left is

Writing, reading, and ceramics are my forms of therapy. I am not a quiet, nor a shy person. I have a lot of grief and repressed feelings that I cannot express vocally, so I write it out. more..
