Truly Battle Tested

Truly Battle Tested

A Poem by B-poet

No one else left to blame

When the chance came

To declare a truce

Over territory I've fought to claim

Who lost in vain

A loser had to be eliminated

To make room for the winner

My power and itinerary was enough to hold my rank

While defending my position on the battle field

My tank broke down the competition

Plain and simple

Fewer foes or none left will never rekindle

Their dictated desired outcomes

Of the causes I chose to embrace

While I've sustained and endured

The war

My flag of suffering is now waving in the wind

Because I've achieved the coveted position

By declaring myself a battle tested champion

Forever a conqueror of any opposition that stands in my way

I think you may have meant "claim" instead of "clame" in the 4th line? The last four lines were my favorite. The flag of suffering waving in the wind-that was brilliant. You use a great selection of vocabulary too!
