Enduring the journey

To earn my crown of suffering

While affecting the lives of many

Is the course Jesus

Choose to embrace

Saving face

To challenge the depths of the unknown

Is not common

If you choose to act

As if

Being dignified

Was masked as

Choosing not to fall off a cliff

While trying to enjoy the view

Of a breath taking mirage

That deceived you

You’re now gone

With no one left to view

The present state you were in

So stop pretending

And begin something

With significance

So you can be adhering

To the beat of your own drum

Are you tired of feeling lost

Well this new era of requisition

Has now begun

In the face of

An ever-changing & vaguely future

This sounds like a coming of age of sorts, not sure if the poet is talking to oneself or to the audience, either way it is very thought provoking, there is always a witness in oneself, no one needs convinced, if someone thinks badly of you but it is unfounded there is always two persons who knows the truth, you and your God.no one else's opinion really need matter.
