A Wayward Path Towards My Proposed DestinyA Poem by B-poet
Around each And every curve Is a conquest Of unexpected turns Waiting to be explored Illustrating How can serenity be obtained By alleviating deception From stress and strain Is the question I keep asking my self in relation To what weapon of choice Can I use To end this pestilence While strengthening my voice of concern To combat the twists and turns Followed by this fork in the road I was skeptical So I asked for directions Along the way at a gas station Yet these despised two-faced gas attendants Don’t want me to experience My revised plan for my life I was only looking for reassurance Even though My road map says Go right and stay straight ahead To reach the X on the spot Pass the degenerates Who love to plan and plot Their desired pitfalls on anyone Who crosses their path As they like to watch their schemes Unfold and come to pass from the sidelines Yet my defense for them Lies within my hand of cards All 13 of them are spades I’m prepared to trump any raid or plot to sabotage Me from reaching my destination I left the gas station More determined than ever As I was getting closer To the exit ramp My road map now clearly reads You’re now entering a land of infinite opportunities Welcome to your proposed destiny © 2012 B-poetReviews
