How To Heal From A Deep Rooted Inner Pain

How To Heal From A Deep Rooted Inner Pain

A Poem by B-poet

Healing from pain

Dwelling deep from within

The depths of a privileged heart

Seen through the eyes

Of an exalted forbearer

Harboring a justified stake in symbolizing

What it takes

To become whole

As a person who has a purpose

To live for

Watching it unfold

Along the trail of a proposed personal redemption

Remains the number one illustration

For becoming in sync

With your own destined vision to be

Is the only true assumption

I can currently make on

How a deep rooted pain

Can be healed internally

As we presently speak on

Being permanently restored

So all eyes can see

The new and redefined version of the person

They could live to be as

this is just...beautiful. I loved reading this...I think before I did this review I read it 3 or 4 times...its just so wonderful. Once again, you have a power to command words in such a way as to bring them together to make these wonderful poems...I may not have made any sense there, but well done again :D

Everyone wants to be free from his inner pains. This is a true mirror of what a broken soul searches for.
Nice poem. :)

A lot of people search for our purpose and it can be quite discouraging when we don't find it. The poem flows beautifully until the very last line. However, the point is brought across very well and smoothly. Great write!

Interesting piece...raises some heavy questions in my mind. The thing that I take from this, though, is that a person with purpose is perhaps a happier person than one without. Purpose gives us reason for getting up in the morning, slugging through our days, and enjoyed the good ones. Without purpose we are but balloons floating through the air...we may end up in heaven, or stuck in a tree somewhere. Well done.

Minor change: I would make the first line "Healing from pain"

"They could live to be as"

Yes, though some pain can never be fully healed. It just lays dormant in time until reminded. For others it is time and patience.

Very good piece. Although, some of the wording used here reminded me of It's Nice To Be Admired.
