Do You Ever...

Do You Ever...

A Poem by B_SouthPaw

Do you ever feel like no matter how many loved ones, close friends and familiar company you have around you, there will still be loneliness? We find splice and safety within the familial boundaries but how much of that is true inclusion? Each of us is an individual, one-of-a-kind and yet here we are mingling with others who aren't us. We hope to find some comfort, some relief of societal pressures bit the most we find is a discomfort when it boils down to it. You are still alone as everyone connects with those halfway around the world. You are no longer required. You were just the entertainment to fill the dull moment. When you are no longer required, you become the wall flower. Blooming attracts attention but only you can pull yourself free from the wall
