A day I will never forget

I will never forget the day that I met some celebrities at the circle of sisters expo and took pictures as well.

In the year of 2015, I attended the circle of sisters expo which took place at the Jacob and Javitz center in Manhattan. When I first walked into the building I saw a bunch of vendors at different stations selling products such as body care, perfume, makeup, jewelry and hair weaves. So me and my sister took a picture with these vendors that gave us a tote bag with information about their services. I also saw the hot 97 radio station workers that were there. They set up a game to where if anybody is able to cover a whole red circle with CDs then you win a hot 97 t-shirt, bag and notebook. Once I gave this game a try the first time I didn't quite win but when I tried the second time I won. So I jumped up and down in excitement for a prize and I choose a shirt. The hot 97 worker's took a picture of me holding my shirt as the winner. Afterwards, there were some hot 97 stage performers that singed some rap songs. Me and my sister enjoyed the music by dancing and shouting in excitement. We also met a well known celebrity named Malcolm Jamal Warner. He shared to the fans about his early life and career. Malcolm sold a CD with him doing spoken word. He said" the CD costed twenty dollars and he encouraged his fans to buy the CD which was good. Me and my sister were able to take a picture with Malcolm Jamal Warner and after that he shook both of our hands and said "It was a pleasure meeting both of you guys". It was announced that Tami Roman from Basketball Wives was there at the expo and also Wendy Raquel Robinson from the show The Game was there. We were led by security to go to the auditorium room as we headed inside there was a long crowd full of people that were in excitement to see these celebrities. People were taking pictures of from their personal phones and recorded them.Tami Roman and Wendy Raquel Robinson were interviewed by reporters about their careers and how acting turned out for them. Once the interview finished me and my sister had the opportunity to take a picture with these celebrities while everyone was in line waiting to take a picture with them as well. Afterwards, as me and my sister browsed around and looked at some more vendor tables. I came across people who auditioned and singed. The manager lady of the auditions asked me if I was interested in singing auditions? My answer was Yes. So she told me to sign my name on the log and I also had to put my contact information as well.once I finished signing my name I was finally able to sing a song from Tasha Cobbs For Your Glory. As I sanged the song people cheered me on by saying "Go Girl you could sing. I also felt the lord s presence as I singed that song.As my singing audition finished, the manager lady pulled me over to the side to ask me a question. The manager asked me "If I was available to do an audition to be on TV to be a singer. ?" I replied Yes and that I am very excited about this opportunity. So she looked over my contact information to make sure it was correct. And the manager said "she would give me a call".
Finally, as the circle of sisters expo ended me and my sister were able to get something to eat in the Jacob and Javitz cafeteria. It turned out that me and her whinded up getting the same thing to eat which cheese burger deluxe with French fries. I had such a good time that day that I even bragged to my family members on the phone about the celebrities I met. Some of my family members wished that they could've been there that day with me and my sister. It was the best day ever for us.
