The angel dream

This poem is about a young girl who sees a guardian angel

The angel dream.

The furnace heart of the fire consumes,
I'm gonna burn it is my doom.
And as the flames grow strong and even higher,
I grow weaker, im crying, dying.
But as I'm about to close my eyes, I see a flying angel rise,
I try to tell her how I've been living lies,
but she fades and fades into the moonlit skies.
And as I'm about to close my tired eyes,
I realise it was yet another lie.
