Drink it slow

 

Life has so many obstacles

No matter how we interlock with it

It seems to deliver us outside the bound

We try not to do things to compliment it

But it never works, because we drink it too fast

Fast…really really fast

This cause us to choke on our own existences

Fade into the hell of the world

Instead of the heaven we should embrace

Our destitute can bring us to the edge

And our solitude will push us over into the abyss

Of course, no one will be the wiser

They will think we are just a result

But the truth is

We got drunk on it.

 

 

Life can make things confusing especially if we dwell too deep into our purpose in life. If you drift into the night you'll see all those things that make life great but if you overwhelm your mind you will find life filled with unanswered words that cause you to cringe into an avenue of uncertainty.

Life does what you want it to do, you just have to savor it not gulp it down like a drug that will incapacitate you. A world that strives to control you can hamper your own existence. so to overcome it you just need to do something very simple…let your life flow into its self and you will enjoy it and finally realize no matter how complicated it is, you can control your destiny and deliver a ray of light out of a given black hole.


Just believe in you no matter how it looks…believe in you…..

I usually have a cow about fonts that stray from the normalcy of Verdana 12 point. In this piece it really enhanced the theme. It forced me to read it slow and thus helped me to take it all in. The font type is beautiful and adds to the prestige of the piece.

The whole peom flowed well and read very easy. It had a calming air about it which is to seldom seen now adays. Very well written, Ralph (:

But this poem has brought me right back. Ralphy's pieces are very refreshing and rehydrating, a perfect cure for those little blocks...
