The Fight

The Fight

A Poem by Ralphy
"

In prelude to Fear of Fire...always keep your options open

"

The fight

It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done

to fight for my life, the world has won

it could last 3 rounds or even more

it could last 15 rounds to determine the score

the most I could win is a stay on here

the worst that could happen is I disappear

but nevertheless, I’m in it for the bout

can I get an Amen, just give me a shout

life can only be what you dream it to be

so I’ll stop, look around, see what I can see

As I wrote, on my profile, there is nothing more I admire than courage. This poem is victory in of itself. Victory of spirit and attitude.

A great, inspirational write, Ralphy.

Give it you all toe to toe with life obstacles and no matter the outcome you are a winner... very inspirational and well put... now we need the theme to Rocky playing.

Something worth taping to to the inside of your locker room door, while getting your game face on. Nice work.
