A Drop for You

A Drop for You

A Poem by Ralphy

A drop for you

The drops were large
 as they glided down
the channels through each
of the temper zones.
Some droplets landed on trees,
diving off the leaves
splashing to the ground below.

Yet others,
collided with the sweet
refreshing thoughts
of mating and becoming one.

To walk beneath this array
of drops was unusually breathtaking
and warming to the soul
although the drops themselves
were fidget and cold.

Those tears of nature
skimmed the surface
and slid down the bridge
of the nose pondering
whether to drip or sit adhered.

We just laughed
as the knife of light sliced
through the sky,
baptized us, into the night
electrifying our souls
