The Dazzle affect

 

Your hair glistens with shine

that bounces with each step

as the gentle breeze lifts the strands

your smile as bright as a pulsating star

that reaches across the universe

in the absence of time that reflects

what once was as the waves of

light rush towards your altered eye.

 

Your cheeks high with excitement

plush in color, as rosy as a cherry

ripe on a vine

your lips are plump, sweetie with

miracles that only science could achieve

your body altered, as motions of self

appeal with curves and expressions

sending magical signals to another

that weakens in your

awesome presences.

 

Before you is a tender soul

that holds each memory of yours

with loving care, and asks you a simple

question as it peels back the layers

to reach your soul…

I love this poem its so pretty. I used to write a lot of poems like this. I loved writing from the guy's perspective which was really just the way I wished to be doted upon.
