Accidently Love

Accidently Love

A Poem by Ralphy

To know that life contains specs of blueness

like the sky beaming to your eyes,

vibrant for the moment as billowy clouds obscure the pureness,

radiating towards the ground quarreling to release the rain.

It skips along the water, reflecting light like that of mirror,

although not quite the same as blue becomes green,

greens becomes yellow, and yellows becomes brown.

Excitedly, fish swim in it, some jump, and others spawn

while others fear for their life

as you sit and ponder through the amazement of it all.

Puddles become streams and streams rush like rivers

speaking in tongues that proverbial language

not so familiar to most.

As the river dumps to the ocean,

another moment has given away a precious life,

another death another birth.

Nature twiddles a smile while other cries,

again making life a mystery from the sunrise to sunset.

Your skin begins to tingle, as you feel a kiss upon your vacant lips,

Confused-if it is real or just a breeze teasing your mind.

Treasures lie in the sandy soil,

unfathomable beneath the ocean allowing rip currents to bury your thoughts

as deep as light fails to surrender a sporadic view.

The rhythm fills the cool waters

like that of dancing mermaids spinning their tails creating a vortex of contractions

revealing the gift that two souls uses to feel,

as the water regenerates a kiss and washes away staining tears.

What does this mean, as curiosity flap to the breeze?

Is life a gift or a curse, like heaven or hell?

What if life is neither of these and our action stand before us.

Does this mean our pain is just a drift through time

and our tears are only moments flowing like a river of occasion?

Does life penetrates our souls as residual rays of sunlight warm a surface.

Do smiles puff our cheeks, lifting yet another’s spirit out of the deceit of depression,

like a breathtaking event frozen in a instantaneous moment of time.

Does our actions control the moments that affect another’s life,

sprinkling like dew drift down aimlessly to the ground

or does it just spill love accidently upon us.

Wow. I'm truly amazed by this poem. It was very beautiful and perceptive. Lines like:
"Puddles become streams and streams rush like rivers

speaking in tongues that proverbial language

not so familiar to most. "

and

"The rhythm fills the cool waters

like that of dancing mermaids spinning their tails creating a vortex of contractions

revealing the gift that two souls uses to feel,

as the water regenerates a kiss and washes away staining tears."

really made this poem great.

Do our actions control the moments that affect another’s life,
sprinkling like dew drift down aimlessly to the ground
or does it just spill love accidentally upon us. A wonderful piece!
