Mary Insane

Mary Insane

A Poem by Poe Redd
"

no desc. none at all.

"
Restricted from play with
                          constricted breath
Ribbed leather
                       weather-black
And lacking the warmth of a proper sun
That livid white firmament fire
                   wears the same steel corset
Not a twitch of an eye but
                   a miserable train
away from the shade
                 of a sulking stain,
pained as it was
              without her good posture
the distance was Mary insane
a blatant transaction in vain
and no wise men to greet the monster.

Author's Note

Poe Redd
It shouldn't insult, but if you're insulted, it's just because you don't understand.. Actually no one should well and truly understand, because it is an incomplete poem. I wrote this and then sat on it, got back to it, but the rest.. didn't hold the right mood.

A very nice poem. I wanted the who, what, where, why and how of this story. You create a interesting character in the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
