A Poem by Poe Redd
"

no desc.

"
I could breathe,
my tears touched the sunshine.
In a rage I pulled the strings and I
breathed no more.
And the church pews filled with my sins
and they spoke of my escape,
And the rain came bearing my heart
to be washed down the drain,
until I wake again.
Claws in my shoulders where
my wings once were
until I woke again.
Whipped and hiding behind a semicolon.

Here is where I didn't end it; I've made
 better decisions.
