give birth to her into a story

only to kill her

and kill her

and kill her

and bring her back

If I could

have her raped by a demon

abandoned, betrayed

possessed

and bring her back

If I could

let her bleed

let her rot

let her burn

and bring her back

If I could

sew her mouth shut

tattoo her skin with scars

throw her under nameless rosebeds

and bring her back

and continue bringing her back

to begin another death

and another

and another death

If I could

I would

but I'm the one

with the chain around my neck

and she's the one

who created me

to die

and live

and die

again

...

Writers, you ever wonder what your characters must think of you?
Does anyone else have one certain character in your heart that you find possessing every character you ever try to create?
This one in particular... we've got this kind of love/hate relationship... See, I'm not very nice to her, and there's nothing she can do! -.- Poor characters.
