A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

You enter my colorless sightless eyes
and my dreary lands of dreams
And I hear you breathe inside of me
Our transparency is a perfect union.

Of dirty phantom objects that gleam
that scream for more light
We did not know how to hide from each other
You suffuse my evanescent being.

Taking your hidden little hands
Into the influence of our water's resistance
New and strong our heart-beats surge
Where time is found to be an illusion
Like the primal rushing gladness of the search for love.

Fresh and deep, those thoughts they carve throug me
For  pure delight of unison
You enter my listening of blood, fire, perfume.

Green as antiquity, I hold you near
Trafficking in the foam of our lyrical insights
In the round and lovely equation of shared literary orbits.

You enter my mind signifying shadows
I no longer wish to keep sole, you kiss to bury
In the heart your communion, your abandonment.

Established as an ardent witness, I praise
You for coming near so easily
A pledge and follow divine duty, I could admire.

So I open my secrets, the little truths I could share
Its all in front of you
meek, bleak. they plead to be heard
They desire a heart and a ear.

Illusion is but only in my words.

A poem with a rhythm like flowing water that passes the shallows and goes into the deep and then is quiet. Nice.
