My Season of Enlightenment

My Season of Enlightenment

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

Pain has an element of darkness
That cancels out itself
In the face of mutual collectivism.

I took all my sufferings as my pay
For the solemn contract of a hard life
I took at as a gift,a privilege to suffer

There wasn't a day I took it for granted
Failure has no future but resurrection
It walks like a transplanted canvas

Somewhere down the silent road
of my new ways of shining alive
I felt myself alone, in nature’s dining-room
The birds and the songs I often shared, the crumbs

And when turning, hungry and alone
I felt the faith of trembling noons
And years that raced, like a hungry curiosity

As my feet touched the sea of bronze
With the copper red glimmer of my eyes
I traced back my individuality of stone

So here I stand, enlightened with pain
Back to the form, who cannot die of light
Back to the season, the season I was born.

I felt myself alone, in nature’s dining-room
what an imagination

So here I stand, enlightened with pain
yeah pain numbs but at times brings in realization and strength too.

nice one

best wishes

I took at as a gift,a privilege to suffer ...a confusing line

I felt myself alone, in nature’s dining-room ...a very clever line

a very mixed bag with some wonderful lines
