Run!

Run!

A Poem by Immortal

These people were once friends, they say.
Are supposed to be loyal at the end of the day.
But now, when my sun is gone,
They scatter like roaches under this new ones mighty brawn.

Run! Hide! Go! and find a way,
to sequester oneself until a new day,
when my sun once again shines so bright.
But if they hide they will see no light.

Be blind! I say, Cower in fear!
Run away and tell others how queer
the way I've been acting is not so sincere.
Be blind I say, and see no light,
for if you run from me,
there is no end to the night.

You choose to stay angered,
and cast blame upon me,
under the guise of worry?
Have you no better things to do than pity me.

So begone! I say,
and crawl back to me upon a brighter day.
For I will forgive, and will not judge.
But neither will I forgo your sense of love,
for if these people care,
No one has asked.

Very interesting. I liked it. You have a special technique when writing, you should be proud. Like how artists have their own technique when painting. Every line went together in another way or form and I just had fun reading it.
