Think Tank

Think Tank

A Poem by John Baryn
"

Disgust and despair for the standard of political leaders in todays world.

"

Think Tank (20th Nov 1991)

Sparrows for crumbs

of survival flock,

and the peacocks be

dazzled, by their own colors.

Fowl politicians!

Secure in class, icons of beauty,

idles of rich,

establishment, duty.

With arrogant strut,

screeching calls mocking,

in the guise of intellect

the peacocks sit rocking.
