Summer's End

Summer's End

A Poem by Raymond
"

This is just a short poem of me summing up my summer and all the previous one's as well.

"

Summer's end again draws near
The leaves begin to fall as the schools open up
Once a kid who made every summer day as if it was their very last
Now a man who's lived his years
From dawn to dusk I'd feel the sun

Embrace it because it wasn't cold, oppose it because it burned

Oh how I loved those sunny days

I always knew when the fun began
My friends and I played at the park

Not even the bees could end our fun

But one thing was for sure

Our time was over when day turned to dark

From playing in the puddles to watching the rain

My summers behind me were nothing like this

For now I am done with yesteryear

Although it is over I can't complain

Summer's end is here with fall's beginning

After a childhood of summers

Let me tell you

Enjoy it while it lasts is what I've been hinting
