To That One Student

To That One Student

A Poem by Dalton Wagoner
"

I wrote this for the people that have other students they really don't like

"
To whom it may concern,
When I see you in the hall
I hope you break your leg and fall
You need to have your mouth glued shut
You look just like Jabba the Hut
I hope you fail for being there
And get gum stuck in your hair
I pray you fart and you get caught
I'll bet your mama was a thot
I hope you're forgotten in the fire drill
Exposing your porn collection would be a thrill
I hope the teacher hates you "just because"
And the strict teacher hears your phone buzz
I hope you get poisoned by the food
And catch the bully in the wrong mood
I hate you with every bit of my heart
And I loathed you from the very start
The only time you'll be safe from my schemes
Is when you're living in your wet dreams
Sincerely,
You're Worst Enemy

Dang, Dalton! That's hard core. It's raw writing, and though probably bothersome to some, should be admired for it's bluntness and sincerity. Whether we're willing to admit it or not, many of us have similar thoughts (or have in the past) about another person. This poem captures a full range of those feelings. In addition to the emotions you convey in this poem, you've also creative impressive rhymes.
