Last night i wake up from a nightmare.

I stare in darkness and see your eyes giving light.

There you are beautiful friend staring back at me.

Calls your name and you come in my bed petting you softly.

Hear you softly purring that calms my mind.

You always there in good and bad times.

You always protect me against bed monsters.

Always purring and being a lazy cat.

You always give me warmth on those cold dark winter days.

You always make me smile when i see you.

Your my best friend for always.

But now when i wake up from my nightmares.

I stare in the empty darkness looking for you.

Sometimes i call your name.

But you no more here.

My smile is gone.

My best friend is gone.

I miss your warmth and purring.

I miss the safe feeling you gave me.

But now only your memories are with me.

You always have a place in my heart.
