If only my love could be...

If only my love could be...

A Poem by Jamie

If I could write you a song

I would tell you that you were beautiful

That I wish there were words for it

I wish there was a color for your sweet lips

There isn’t

Believe me, I looked

If I could dance for you

It would be an interpretive dance

Meant only for the understanding of You

I wish there was an emotion to express my love

There isn’t

Believe me, I tried

If I could draw you a picture

I would fill it with memories of games we play

The ones where we chase each other around and ‘round for hours

I wish there was a face for the joy we feel

There isn’t

Believe me, I searched

If I could tell you how I feel

I would write you a song, dance for you, draw you a picture, and many other things too

I wish I could explain how you have solar systems in your eyes and jingly giggle and our wonderful memories and the way I love you

There is

Believe me, I just showed you

Thank you for this really kind review! God bless you as well!
wow she has to love this...
love is shown, not told.

i really like the part about the interpretive dance...
wonderful...one of my exes did that....and her dancing was so amazing, she told many stories through the movement.
