Falling

Falling

A Story by Jamie

I haven't jumped on a trampoline in years! You know, when I was little, I used to jump on the trampoline and imagine I could fly. The blue was just so close, I could almost touch it. Silly, I know, but it was like grasping small bits of magic in my tiny fingers. But now I see.how stupid I was. Now I see that I was always going to fall back down on my face. I hate falling. Falling in love, falling for peoples games they play, and especially... I hated falling for Sam. How.blind could I be to miss what was right in front of my eyes. I was.his project. I was his charity case. Oh, she has cancer! I'm going to be a.good person! Look at me, everyone! Let me take a selfie with Meredith so they can see how amazing I am! Oh! Oh! Did you ever think about me, Sam? I loved you, Sam! I loved you! I thought you were my always, my forever! My love... Did you ever love someone that you gave everything to, Claire? Don't. Because it sucks. It sucks loving someone who couldn't care less about you. I promise, leave guys alone... they're like wild animals... they bite

This is such a good piece. You draw real emotion, then almost inject some humour 'They're like wild animals... they bite' well done girly. I enjoyed this. I must ask.. is this fiction?
