Innocence Personified

Innocence Personified

A Poem by BeccaBelieved-

Innocence answers the powerful call,

of a small word, known by all.

A girl of smal stature, a girl of small songs,

A girl who makes absolutely no wrongs.

A girl of blonde hair, and girl who only sees,

A girl hos has a small little plea.

'Hear me!' She cries, a plea with small might,

As she struggles to keep up the tough fight.

Shes no strength left, and she crumples to the ground,

Innocence has fell, leaving carnage all around.

The small, crumpled girl has lost her tough fight,

And Innocence leaves us in the dark night.

I was thinking of the word 'Innocent' when I wrote this, and I realized that there were things about innocence that could be personified in writing. So I wrote this.

This is very touching, and in a way quite sad, I like this its simple but has complex meanings. I like it

This poem is well written. It's very sad when a young girl loses her innocence. Almost made me want to tear up.

I am not your typical country girl xD Yes, I'm a hard worker and all that, but I don't have the down south country accent. I live, and have always lived, in the country about two miles from a tiny lit.. more..
