Sadness with a mistake

No one knows of how much sadness and sorrow

I carry within my heart.

And it is all because I lost sight

Of my love and my future.

I am terribly sorry,

That we went through what we did, once again.

I wish to only take it back, to start over.

I know it is not easy.

To forgive and forget, to worry or not

About falling into the same pattern.

I wish to do better, to look forward to the day,

We can possibly be together again.

And for now, i will carry my hurt with me.

For i have made the mistake of messing it all up once again.

I know it is hard to love this much.

Let it be known, i will not love anyone like i do you.

Forgive me in time, find your inner peace as i search for mine.

I only hope, that i am not forgotten in the future,

As you are the only one i want and will still want.

I will forever feel an emptiness within me,

But i will not forget to live.
