You and the Truth

You and the Truth

A Poem by Becca

Not everyone can see the truth in me.

You were the only one who did.

Now I wish you stuck around.

Because you were the only one who understood.

My pain and sorrow was shared with you.

Not everyone saw the real me.

You said you loved me and I know

It's true. But you left me

Broken hearted. It's true.

You were the only one to see past my lies.

Not everyone could see the real me.

Why did you have to go away?

Why tell me lies then leave? Why?

About
I'm 23 and I write poems to keep me sane. Poems are my way of getting out how I feel. When I'm upset, I tend to write more. But there are times where I will get randomly inspired and write something c.. more..
