A Story by Rebecca Leigh
"

Just some free-writing

The pavement glistened with every drop of rain. The scent of lavender sifted through the air. for twenty years I have lived here, and the beauty never ceases to amaze me. I turn the lights off and lock the double doors, and walk the street to my apartment. As I walk up the steps to my brick flat, I hear a someone shouting down the street I turn to look and see a woman running my direction.

A nice beginning to a story. I like gentle and hopeful thoughts. You made the reader want to know more.
