A Last-

A Last-

A Poem by xxxJxxx

A Last-

If the doors of heaven

Were widely open

You would have heard

My mere rocky calls

For you to sing us all

Your last song

If the sky wasn’t all that cloudy

You would have seen me praying

Praying dear and in fear

Wishing that one day

You will sing us all

Your last song

You can’t be tartarus

For your skin isn’t black

As a raven’s fur

Why is it that you can’t hear or see me wail?

For you to sing us all

Your last song

Oh dear, mysterious

Whose name I can utter no more

Bless us all

For you must

Must sing us all

You last- your so very last- song of death
