Three Stars

Three Stars

A Poem by Bella Andrews
"

True love lost

"

Above my head three stars shine brightly.
Boldly they dance and twinkle as if on cue.
So similar to the love I saw in your eyes.
Just one more thing to remind me of you.

The moon kisses the world with silvery lips.
Each night she watches as you sleep.
While I swim in memories of you and I.
My one true love that I could not keep.

There is always such passion in the sunset.
And it brings you vividly back to me each time.
Painting an image of "our then" in my mind.
An image of when you would always be mine.
