Sad Dream

Sad Dream

A Poem by Bella
"

Love plus depression

"

Pouring myself a cup of happiness, with the lights dim,

shadows lurking, we're smirking whilst I'm dreaming again,

the midnight smiles returning whilst I'm collapsing,

surely too much touch must cover the pain?

Only our eyes connect like that, like magnets with superglue,

and what was love before his mouth?

and when's our expiration date due?

part's of me becoming him, except the sadness after south.

This is it, normal, I'm in love with a man but saddened by my mind,

tears want to be my lover, sorrow wants my heart,

happiness pushed me away yet his presence shows me pictures of bliss,

his kiss will never be something I'll miss but it's my life's favourite part.

Why can't we be humble stars? we're nothing compared to the milky way,

but there are some stars in his eyes, and I, with no emotion but an empty looking stare,

questioning why people don't believe in magic,

falling in love whilst tripping into melancholy and it's just not fair.
