Two Hearts

Two Hearts

A Poem by A. Kim Spradling
"

I am willing to take that step with you!

"

Two separate hearts

Hurt and bent.

Afraid and torn

Feelings spent.

A meeting.

Intense feeling.

Hide away.

Not dealing.

Anxious and hopeful

Both decide

To take the step.

Two hearts collide.

Now this is what I'm talking about. You get all the powerful impact in a short poem. You know how to handle it.
