Lost inside

Lost inside

A Poem by Benjamin Belcher

yourself and the city

big bright lights and colors beaming

so unwielding, so seductive

sorry sop is so supported and without it,

he would crumble like two towers.

What once was a faroff novelty, is now

a hard-driven addiction. Neuron emissions

from light-inflected patterns rage

and control my brain. Hidden nature

rarely seen, save a few rare days.

Metal-tower Wonderland

you are an emblem of promise and evil,

of power, success and utter misery

all wrapped in big ball of relentless

humanity.

Some day, the world has got to end.
