Overcast

Overcast

A Poem by Betty Boop

Waiting for the sun
and then a night to come
Full of dreams and wishes
of a mother's kisses
Still hoping for a call
to steal me away from this all
But my dreams are fading
and with it all my waiting
Reality has finally arrived
leaving a sun---- I can no longer find

This seems to be the sad reality life that I can somewhat relate. Where it seems like all you do is wait and wait for something to happen and eventually you get so accustomed to it, you lose track of what you were waiting for in the first place. I hope I am interpreting it correctly...
Very thoughtful written piece either way.

I like your style of writing,
It hurts when the people u want to take with you just won't cooperate an u have to leave them behind until they realize their mistake
