Black silky swirls connect stars, planets Surround billowy clouds with dust of cosmic hues Orange, yellow, purple, azure Lights up the dance of the universe
Moonbeams join in the chaos Of extraterrestrial showtime Hallmarks a goddess of fire She circles the globe in a black silk robe Renders passion, thunderous songs She fears the earthly Terrified of shrinking into oblivion
Showtime of the black sky halts Goddess of fire burns to ash Moon beams calm the waves Stars twinkle like candle light Cosmic dust settles on sleepy clouds Night universe weeps, shrouded in silk ![]() © 2021 Betty HermeleeAuthor's Note
