Paean - Gratias

Paean - Gratias

A Poem by Bezelset
"

It hurts, it heals, kills, creates.

"

I dream of a sky
as dark as night, clad in velvet
where castles stand, made of diamonds and mist
And I will stand before the last rays of twilight
singing my heart to the bleeding horizon
All my fear, pain and joy
make my life’s song
Feel it; burning, yearning, dancing with abandon
bleeding life, born over and over again

I dream of a sky
as quiet as night, clad in silk
where thrones stand, made of thorns and feathers
And I will cry before the sweet dawn
pouring my tears into the calm sea
Every memory, scar and dream
make our lives’ songs
Hear them; murmuring, growing, bellowing
living and dying only to sound again

I dream of a sky
as warm and beautiful as you
where only love and life thrive
There I will stand, strong and content
and there a gentle soul
may fall into sleep
among stars that shed light
onto our lives so brief.

I thought that this was a very well put together writing experience. There was nothing wrong with your English. Be proud of what you have written! It would be excellent in any language.
