Crying Alone

Crying Alone

A Poem by Lilith

As I sit here alone in this dark night
Only a memory of you in sight
The faint moon is my only light
Only your voice will bring might
The tears roll down my face
Trying to fill up this empty space
The blood flows down my arm
The crimson drops like your charm
The pain resounds in my head
Feeling as though I am dead
Pain arises in my heart
Tearing and ripping it apart
I open my eyes hoping to find you here with me
I am crying alone and darkness is all I see

Great rhyming in this piece, it really just seemed to add some rhythm to your words, which I personally loved (and I have to admit I am not a huge fan of rhyme) but you pulled it off brilliantly. Making sure that your emotions flows as freely as the tears that you have cried

Very emotional and heartfelt piece, I really think you did a great job!
