Where I Am From

I am from an unbelievably amazing, sunny Northern Californian city to an incredibly deserted, small town in Central Oregon

From the bleached blonde hair and natural tans to the pick up trucks and Wrangler jeans

I am from dining out weekly to late night, homemade meals

From wakeboarding and skateboarding to snowboarding and skiing

I am from spending unlimited time and money with family to rarely ever even seeing my parents or going out together

From the suburb neighborhoods and friendly neighbors to the random house, standing alone in nothing but acres of trees

I am from the very close friendship filled high school to the know it alls “hell hole”

From the people who love and care for me to the ones only concerned about themselves

I am from the unforgettable, heavenly city of Santa Rosa to a dull, empty place, reminding me nothing of my prior perfect life.
