Look inside

Look inside

A Poem by Bill

I felt the hand of fate
Brush aside the veil of time
I fear the taste of hate
Makes love the only crime

I wish I could see inside
Twisted turns of your mind
Where you try to hide
From a world turned unkind

Hope has left an icy void
In a heart meant to feel pain
In a life no longer enjoyed
The bullet leaves little stain

i found that this piece had a nice rhythm. i think the shortness of the piece actually adds to it and lends it mystery

About
I like to write poetry; I would love to actually finish a work of fiction, mostly fantasy, historical fiction, science fiction. Life seems to crowd the stories in my head so that they have a hard tim.. more..
