I wanna be

I wanna be

A Poem by Unspoken Language

I want to be the one you call when your sleepless nights are endless, I want to be your smile when the evils of life are mentioned, I want to be the song you sing when the joys you've seen are deafened. I want to be it all as long as you are present. I want to be the sun in your eyes that dissipates the darkness too but I also want to be the love of your life that leaves you feeling unremarkable. With your quest of love ending with me, passionate touches without words to break free, kisses so soft leaving the taste of my tongue lingering, the touch of my hands has your body shivering and you in my heart brings the thought of marriage to be mentioned.

I like how there are no definitive stanzas here. The flow of one sentence to the next, gives it a “fast forward motion”, and an allusion of someone thinking, or daydreaming, the “what if’s” in their head... but not stoping and giving time to think, about the realistic opposotion to their current situation.

(That’s what I got from it, at least)

Good job!
