Candles

Candles

A Poem by Black

Candles

Candles flicker in the soft wind
Room unlit, curtains closed
closed door,
no one can come in

the soft nuzzle on my cheek,
making my head feel warm and loved
The soft touches on my arm,
makes me phantom his huggling warmth

I can't sleep
I can't lay still
waiting...
then he says, ''''Goodnight teddybear'''

and I respond all the same
Goodnight daddy bear

A very nice poem. Create a peaceful place. Good to find sleep with your teddy bear in the calm of the night. I like this poem. A peaceful and calm poem. Thank you for a excellent poem.
