Beautiful Dreamer

Beautiful Dreamer

A Poem by WynterPhoenix

Caterpillar

Dream a dream.

To be beautiful

Is a far off scheme.

Caterpillar

Let out a scream.

Beautiful freedom

Burst at the seam.

Caterpillar

More than a dream.

You’re beautiful,

Your heart does gleam.

Butterfly

Fly, fly away.

Beautiful dreamer

Will return some day.

Butterfly

Dream, dream away.

Wings of black,

It’s a cold, cold day.

Butterfly

Fade, fade away.

A beautiful creature,

Died today.

Its a wonderful poem of a butterfly, I have to agree with Yue Zhang, the repetition does give it flow.

I like the repetition, it gives the poem flow. It almost sounds like a song. It's very pretty.
