I want to be a liar.

Maybe then, I could believe.

I want to be a thief.

I’d steal your heart so you wouldn’t leave.

I want to be a writer.

Write the fairytales no one else sees.

I want to be a flower.

Lose my petals. Let them blow in the breeze.

I want to be a star.

I could fall and never touch the ground.

I want to be a bird.

Spending my life just flying around.

I want to be a fish.

Swimming forever in a giant pool.

I want to be like M. Monroe.

I wish I was beautiful.

I want to be a realist.

I’m tired of telling myself fairytales.

I want to be a hero.

Fighting through the darkness, yet always prevails.

I want to be someone,

That doesn’t break at the seam.
