Sometimes we just need someone.

Someone to love me,
and not say goodbye,
Someone to hold me,
and not feed me lies.

Someone to keep me,
and stay by my side.
Someone to want me,
and help me through life.

Someone to help me,
and bandage my wounds.
Someone to hear me,
and answer my words.

Someone to hug me,
and say "It's okay."
Someone who's there,
all time of the day.

Someone to kiss me,
and say "It's alright."
Someone who's stays,
all through the night.

Just someone who cares,
Who won't ever leave me.
Just someone who's there,
Who won't feed me lies.
Just one person who truly loves,
Who means what they say,
I don't think I can live,
Or continue this way.
