Brightness blinds the eyes

Darkness hides the lies

 Light fulfills the voids 

Casting shadows along 

Chains for the bond 

Allowing a choice 

Dark fulfills the full 

Quelling over 

For freedom and knowledge 

Paying the souls toll 

Choose

Wether to be lost

Or

Forever bound

By what you know

ahhhaaaa the quest of total abandonment ... something which is high on my list of 'Things To Do' ... not for everybody though ...

... I am not sure if you need the word 'but' on the second line and for me I think a word like or simiar to 'Remain' afetr the or of the second last line would link it a bit better ... the OR seems to be standing like a lone soldier without purpose .. but then that could be just me ...

I like the message within it's sparsity you can transgress the many layers and one is left thinking thinking .. x x

The quest is indeed difficult... also on my to do list.
You are right the word 'but' in the second line does not fit in properly... I will change that.

The OR, I do find a little important, what do you think would be a better way of finish the last few lines?

hmmmmm .... choose to cast out in abandon or remain forever bound (that way cast infers a release of bondage which then ties into the 'bound') ... that was just quick ... but i hope it helps xx

to me this is a lot like loneliness, and being lost within yourself. It is an internal darkness that we choose whether to stay in or leave. Wonderful poem
