Sepal = Ale

Sepal = Ale

A Poem by Laura Lynn

Elizabeth is here again, not dead for she can stand in for my feelings if all of us experience the same feelings.
Priscilla is pretty and prim and waits for no man.  I promise not to go anywhere then and be no one.  What I was
Asking no one but wondering if it were possible is if I could go somewhere with this a one and we would run away
Like lovers knowing that we weren’t just lovers but only thinking mostly of each other.  Then we would see one
Another’s worlds.  Though I am mostly curious about his, and I assume it has something to do with the showgirls.
Lastly, Lottie will be an ordinary girls whose ambitions are completely unlike my own not in theory but in specificity.
Elizabeth with instinctively know that none of this will come to fruition in exactly the way it was plotted out, but the
Guy who shall remain unnamed but very much wanted for his commodity, the commodity he has made of himself that is.
As I distantly observe Hollywood and Broadway, all those unpredictably talented women with such serious beliefs, I see
Vocationally in the not too distant future that I will never be able to do anything but walk to the mailbox and get the mail.
In rain or snow, I will still be able to see the sparrows peck at seed if the weather is not too severe.  The ghost Elizabeth
Asks for three more wishes and knocks at the door unnoticed in the cold gales of a November night.  Everything is new.

I especially like the woman who waits for no man and the man who has made a commodity of himself. Makes me want you to tell me more about them. I really like your writing. Thanks.
