Ashes to ashes
flames in the night
elegant dances
between the dark and the light.

The romance of the sun and the moon
and the guidance of the stars
all of it ends way too soon
all of it seems way too far.

Don�t let the daylight come
on the heels of the night
don't let the moon end its fun
don't let the flames lose their light.

In time, the soul will always mend
just don't ever let this night end.

Beautiful. This has a timeless feel to it. In the beginning you think it's gonna be a kind of poem that you have read many times, but it is not. It is a very good piece, and one I'm glad I took the time to read.
